
NURSE EXAMINER - PEDIATRIC
Description du service
This course will provide the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Registered Nurse with the foundational knowledge, skills, and judgment to provide trauma-informed, evidence-aware, competent, and skillful care to the pediatric patient being evaluated for abuse or sexual assault. Elements of the course will explore the assessment, interpretation, collection, and processing of forensic health information from the patient. This course meets the required theoretical education component to apply for the SANE-P credential. This course is accredited by the International Association of Forensic Nurses and meets the criteria set forth by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC COA).
